As a trained international chef, educator, and cookbook author from Ojai, California, I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a career around my passions. Beyond cooking, I’m a surfer, artist, and musician, blessed to lead Native American ceremonies with the permission of my elder.

Inspired by my family’s love for growing and cooking food, my journey as a chef began at a young age. I spent over four years as a private chef for Will Smith and have cooked for retreats, health brands, and restaurants worldwide.

I currently create content and courses that support people to reconnect with food, learn to cook mindfully, and build traditions that nourish future generations.

The experience of taking in Evan’s food has changed and transformed me forever. It transformed my relationship with food, allowing me to connect with the earth in a new way.
